About Brandon Clark
Brandon grew up in west Texas, and fell in love with music at a young age. By the time he was 11, he had already picked up a guitar and began percussion & drums at school. He and his friends tested their parents' ears and patience by playing in the garage for hours at a time. He played on the drumline and in jazz band in high school, while also playing guitar at church. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in human development and family studies from Texas Tech, and while in Lubbock played with a worship band that traveled all over the southern US leading for various events. In addition to leading worship, he's done some writing & arranging, and also done some studio session work. He married his wife Leah in 2012, and they live in Flower Mound where she teaches 1st grade.
Two of his greatest passions in life are Jesus and music, and he loves that he gets to share both with all our families at Soar Music School. His goals as a teacher are to ensure that his lessons are tailored to each student's level of development, and to have fun along the path of progression. He deeply enjoys seeing students fall in love with music like he has, and using that spark to guide them into becoming proficient musicians who truly enjoy playing.
