About Nick Robinson
Nick grew up all over the world - his father was in the Air Force so he's lived in Spain, California, Florida, Philippines, Hawaii, Italy, and Germany. Wherever they lived, his dad played in the worship bands at their church. Growing up, there were instruments all over the house. He remembers sitting at the piano for hours, playing guitar, and the trumpet too.
After taking piano lessons & guitar lessons in middle school, Nick started playing in the youth group band. Later in college, he played guitar and bass wherever he could - church, coffee shops, and on campus. Nick took a job as an English teacher at a Christian school for two years, where he was also the director of the youth worship band. It was during this season that he learned to play drums.
In addition to being one of our teachers here at Soar Argyle, Nick is the youth pastor at Crossroads Bible Church. Over the years he's led many youth bands in a variety of settings and loves helping develop musical talent in young worship leaders. He is very passionate about music and passing along that passion, skill, and spark to the generations to come.
One of Nick's favorite things is that feeling when you see a young person fall in love with music like we have, and he's excited to help your child get there. Nick has taught private lessons for over ten years and we're thankful to have him on our team!
