Yesenia was raised in Los Angeles, California and started singing and playing piano at 8 years old. As she grew older, she started to play guitar and learned just how much she loved music. She took many voice and piano lessons over the years including college level lessons throughout her university years.

Her musical studies helped her at her local church as a worship leader and acoustic guitar player for the past 8 years until she was led to Texas to study at The King’s University in Southlake as a student in Worship Leadership.

Teaching Philosophy: Yesenia understands that pursuing excellence with our musical gifts requires practice, and always offering our best. She loves to focus on each student’s individual growth and through focus and encouragement, she knows the student will excel in learning their instrument.
